How light can a shoe get!!!!!!

I just my A86 in the mail two weeks ago. I was impressed right away with how light they are. Talk about your minimalist shoe. I felt like i put on a sock. I've put about 50 miles on my A86 shoes so far. I'm just converting this year to the zero drop shoe. Here in Utah it's all the rage. Because of the zero drop, you have to change your running form strike flat instead of a heavy heal strike. That's taking a bit of getting used to for me. They say they fit true to size, but i found mine to run about a half size small. So far i really like the shoe.Pro's1. Super light shoe2. Excellent fit and plenty of room in the toe box3. Pretty breathable.4. Well constructed and flash colors to choose from5. Trail Runner magazine really liked it and gave it an "Editors Choice Award"Con's1. The ankle box is unusually large (From Heal to Laces) I'm still undecided if i like it yet.I will update my review after a couple more weeks running on it.

I love these..I have had 2 pairs as I wore a hole in the toe box of the 1st ones. I run trails 95% of the time but did a road marathon this past labor day and was very happy with the shoes. Yes my feet were sore but nothing to bad. I finished in 3:30 which was decent and will continue running in them!

Lightweight, Comfortable and Grippy!

~BACKGROUND~I have been searching for a comfortable trail shoe. This is my first pair of "minimalist" shoes and had to try a pair after reading so many positive reviews. I have a bit of concern because I have a heel spurs.I have only worn these for a few days so far. I will update my review after wearing them on off-road environments.~PROS~- TrailRunner Magazine Editor's Choice Award for 2011- Lightweight- Flexible right out of the box- Moisture wicking liner- Breathable mesh upper- Non-marking rubber- Removable high-rebound EVA footbed (use it, without it or with your own)- Large toe guard in front (increases durability)- Flashy design and colors~UNCERTAIN~- The laces don't come up very far on your foot. This is very different than shoes I typically wear. I'm not sure how this will hold up/feel in the long run.- The areas around the ankle sit a bit low. This is also a deviation from the norm for me.~CONS~- Flashy design and colors (depending on your taste!)~TIPS~- In agreement with other reviews that these run a bit small. I normally wear a 10.5 and ordered an 11 for a good fit.~CONCLUSION~Initial reaction is that these shoes and lightweight, comfortable and very grippy. I will put these to the test while playing disc golf in heavily wooded terrain and will provide updates in the near future.
