great shoe

This shoe is a comfortable running or walking shoe. It looks great and is light weight. It did fit a little tight so if I order again, I would order 1/2 a size bigger.

quality is not what it should be

I've been buying Saucony sneakers every year for almost 20 years. Every pair has been consistently good, both in fit and craftsmanship until now. These shoes do not have nearly the same level of craftsmanship. It's so poor I began to wonder if they were counterfeit until I read other comments about them being made in Vietnam. The material on all of my other pairs were a durable synthetic leather/suede material, where these are just thin plastic. The real let down was in the removable insole. I tried the shoes on and they did not have that familiar Saucony feel. They felt very cheap and did not have the familiar contour that always fits my feet perfectly. All of my old Saucony insoles were well shaped, made from high quality materials that remained "springy" even after a year of hard use, and had a nice quality silky style fabric with the Saucony logo silk screened on it. The insoles in this new pair are very cheap foam with a very generic fuzzy fabric with no logo at all on them. I would expect a better insole in a no-name store brand sneaker. To find them in Saucony shoes is very disappointing. Unfortunately, they're going back and now I need to try to find something else that will fit as well as Saucony used to.

Last shoe purchased was asics. Son has a high arch and is rough on shoes, but was looking for good all-terrain shoe with good support. This is the shoe! Much lighter weight than he expected. I loved the price for the quality!
