Absolutely Amazing Trail Runner!
By G. McCain
I am relatively new to distance running as I am built more for full contact (18 year Rugby vet). I check in at 6'0" and 280 lbs, thus I was truly in need of a shoe that not only could support my fat ass, but prevent me from taking a nasty spill which would not be pretty. The Wildcat is that shoe and so much more. The first time out the shoe fit like a glove and hugged the terrain like a mother recovering a lost child. Not once did I fear the inevitable tumble. My speed has increased over the months as my confidence improved and I owe it all to the superior design and stability of this excellent trail runner. La Sportiva is one of the few manufacturers that produces half sizes which attributed to my overall satisfaction with the 'perfect fit'shoe. Do yourself and your feet a favor and strap on a pair of these babies!

Best Trail Runner
By Andrew A Crow
I've been using LaSpo shoes exclusively for the last five years. I own Trango Ice Evos, Trango Alps, Spantiks, Crosslites, Wildcats and multiple climbing shoes. The fit is consistent and the quality unmatched. I have used Montrail shoes in the past and love their fit and tread, but they don't hold up like a LaSpo. The Wildcat is a great trail runner for 3 season conditions (Combined with a gator for off-trail or snow), however they are best for summer. Check out the Crosslite with the built-in gator for more variable conditions.

Blister-free feet
By max power
I have been hiking in the Sierras since 2005. Every year, I suffered 5+ blisters because my feet apparently sweat a lot more than normal people. I have 4 pairs of boots including the amazing Scarpa Kailash. Even with the light weight Kailash, I was still getting blister. Finally, last year, during our interim, we headed down to REI in Fresno, CA and I tried 3 pairs of trail running shoes. I just figured out that boots are NEVER for me. I got this pair of La Sportiva for $80(on sale). I said, " What the heck, let me try them."Later, pair with my Injinji socks, we headed back to the wilderness around Ediza Lake. During the hike, I can feel the breeze on my shoes. I guess that was a good thing because my feet remained dry throughout our hikes in the Sierras, Utah, and Colorado. I was blister free for the rest of the trips!!! :) I guess in the end, it came down to ventilations. My friend was worried that I might sprain my ankles but so far, I have not experienced it with these shoes. No more boots for me...
