This pre-laced men's athletic shoe sports a synthetic leather and open mesh upper with reflective detailing and a removable insole. For stability and comfort, the upper is stitched around the EVA board and directly attached to the midsole. Great shoe for the price.

Great shoe, however I think I am going to try cumulus or nimbus asics next time. I put about 500 miles on the equation 5s and it really beat the heck out of them. I'm up to 50-60 miles a week and I'm not sure the Equation's really hold up as good for that type of mileage compared to the Kayano's and the higher end Asics. That being said for my wide feet (4E) these guys are comfortable as can be! I raced a half-marathon first time wearing them and my feet felt great. I may just grab another pair or try the 7s if they are out in a few months and wear them as racers this winter, since they are lightweight and 4E flats are basically non-existant.

The Asics Equasion 6 running shoes I purchased recently are a big step up from the Equasion 5's. Don't get me wrong; I liked my Equasion 5's and ran in them a full season. But it took a couple of weeks before my feet didn't fall asleep occassionally when I wore them. Maybe it was a simople adjustment period, since I used to wear Nike, but I expected more of the same with Equasion 6's and literally could have put them on new and ran a race -- they're that comfortable. Love them.

Large toe box

Well constructed, comfortable. I typically wear an 11 4E, but needed 11.5 in this model. The exchange was a little complicated, but it worked out in the end. The deal of ordering from RoadRunner Sports is not a good one. Returns take $9 from you with nothing to show for it.
