Product Description

Neutral to Guidance runners can experience a run for the senses without losing the comfort of dynamic cushioning. The PureFlow brings a little more shoe and a whole lot of technology to a slick aesthetic. With a wider Nav Band coming up the lateral side and grabbing the midsole, the foot receives arch support without the bulkiness of underfoot materials. A center strike pod provides guidance in finding the natural landing zone, and modern air mesh wraps the foot for an incredibly comfortable fit. Runner's World named the PureFlow its "Best Buy" in the Spring Shoe Guide in their March 2012 issue, calling it "a lightweight yet durable shoe that's a steal at its price point" and adding that 80 percent of their testers with normal arches and efficient biomechanics "gave the flow their highest-possible performance rating." Just like our core line, we hold PureProject to the industry's highest weartest and durability standards. Because of their lightweight construction and fewer materials, runners should generally expect shoes from the PureProject line to last approximately 250-300 miles.Category: Guidance Weight: 8.7 oz Platform: Anatomical Last Construction: Stroebel Launch Date: October 1, 2011 Technologies • BioMoGo DNA Midsole • IDEAL Heel • Toe Flex • Nav Band • Anatomical Last

5I have had every shoe ever made... almost
By Dude
I am a guy shoe nut... Not sure why. I weight 225 pounds and am 6 foot tall. I am a jogger at 9 minute miles. I have been running and walking for decades and have had probably 35-40 different model shoes over the years.... From cheapos to Hokas. The Brooks Pureflow is by far the best shoe I have bought. It is extremely comfortable and the 4mm drop fits my foot just great. I have tried Vibram Five Fingers and while I like them for the first mile or so after that I really need some padding. The Pureflows give me that small amount of padding and drop that suits me fine. No shoe works for everyone but you owe it to yourself to try on a pair of these Pureflows. I also have the Brooks PureCadence but actually like the Pureflow better and it costs even less than the Cadence... Just my $0.02

5Great shoes
By Dominik "Runopotamus"
I bought them at local running store just it's hard for me to get unknown shoes without trying them first. Some are to narrow, some opposite. Since I've switched to minimalist running and messed up my feet due to quick transition, I was looking for shoe with relatively flat platform and still enough cushioning to handle asphalt trials.I've checked Saucony Kinvara before this one and they were to narrow so after deep searching I decided to give Brooks a try. They fit great, very lightweight, breathable, and I think their name fits great to them - the really let you feel the flow.Keep in mind - if you are heel striker DO NOT switch to shoes like this one right away to run full distance, unless you want to slide down on banister instead walking on stairs, when you leave in 2 floor house. Calves WILL HURT. I run about 100 miles/month and for first 1 month I recommend not more than 20% of distance to be done wearing minimalist shoes. If you are not experienced runner drop it down to 5-10%. Patience will pay dividends. Don't rush.Absolutely great shoes for mid-foot or front foot strikers. Highly recommended!

5Best running shoe ever
By armyartist
So I thought the Brooks Pureconnect was the best shoe ever about 6 months ago. It is a great shoe with incredible feel for the ground, but after quite a few miles and a bit of sore muscles I realized I needed a little more cushioning. I was skeptical of the Pureflow at first as I did not want to loose the incredible feel the Pureconnect provides. No more!! The Pureflow delivers in both feel and cushioning. I average 35 miles per week with a noticeable difference in overall body fatigue. The Pureflow leaves me wanting more, even when I reach my rest days. I have been a runner for over 30 years and have experienced many running shoes and running injuries (3 knee surgeries). The Brooks Pure line is the first and only line I have experienced that has supported my hobby/passion without injury. Thanks Brooks!!!
