About as close as you can get to running barefoot in a pair of shoes; the Hattori is the most minimal shoe from Saucony. This, the LC version, has been given an updated lacing system for ease of entry and a secure fit. The anatomic toe shape and zero-mm offset encourage a balanced, comfortable running form.The Hattori's mitten-like toe box gives your toes room to naturally arch, grip and push off. To further leverage natural toe movement, there is a visible flex groove that sits in between the metatarsals and toes. The sculpted foam of the sole also includes strategically placed impact cushioning and delivers a slight piston effect without ever compromising natural motion.The compression moulded EVA provides the runner with a midsole material that is diverse and lightweight, as well as adding extra cushioning to the feet. Constructed from Ultralite Mesh there is lightweight breathability across the entire shoe and everything is held in place and secure with an exoskeleton synthetic lockdown to hold the foot without irritation.

Super Comfortable!

Didnt think Saucony could make the Hattori more comfortable, but they did! adding laces instead of the velcro strap increased the overall comfort of the shoe. still super light and 0 heel to toe drop. Good job on the colors too. Citron color adds a nice pop but doesnt look cheap. Well Done!

I liked the hattoris but had some blistering along the seams, a problem i often experience when not wearing socks and transitioning to new shoes.I passed them on to a friend though and he's never been more pleased with a shoe. He preferred them over his minimus 10trails and which caused him some pain in his knees. He said he's been pain free and loves these shoes.I will attest that they are extremely comfortable as far as minimalist shoes go. They have a sort of memory foam liner that's attached to the shoe that still provides plenty of ground feel but is very comfortable.I'd say for their generally low cost, they're a great alternative for most dedicated minimalists.

These shoes fit like a glove. Can't hardly tell I even have anything on my feet. Almost better than being barefoot!
