Very Comfortable Running Shoe

As a former runner getting back into running after a couple knee surgeries have prevented me from running for about two years, I wanted to get an affordable shoe that is also comfortable. After hearing from my physical therapist to try Brooks, I went to the local sporting goods store and tried on a pair. I fell in love with the comfort immediately. The gel used in the sole of this shoe is so natural and comfortable that it feels better than walking around barefoot. I would highly recommend giving these shoes a try.

Bought these shoes today from REI and couldnt be happier. I tried on a dozen pairs Asics, New Balance, Vibrams today and and none felt close to how these feel. I have slightly wide and flat feet. The technology in these shoes encourage impact off your heels. Ran my first 5k with these this evening and my feet felt cool and refreshed the entire way through.I would highly recommend these. Not only they function well but they are a head turner.

I hate the running shoe game. Find a model you like and it get changed each year, and 20 bucks more. Was a fan of Asics Gel Kayanos, but was sick of the price and my perceived decreasing lifespan of the shoes for running. I started looking for a replacement, and finally hit upon these. Just what i was hoping for. They seem much more consistent than the kayanos. Need some support, but not motion control, and certainly want cushioning too. This shoe is great right out of the box, cushioned without mush, and most importantly stayed that way through the first few months. Being a tall guy with a big foot, i still feel like a running shoe should last 5 to 6 months with running 2-3 times a week. The asics would drop off in feel very quickly. These are still good after 4 months. So many times i have tried to get away from having to shell out for the kayanos only to have to come back after it didn't work out. These finally broke the cycle. I can imagine they will fall into the running shoe game too, but they are still less than the kayanos which always, always, always go up in price steeply each year. For these prices, running sneakers should be fair trade certified.
