Good, but not as wide as I'd hoped ...

These are good shoes, they fit well in most respects, but they are just not as wide as I'd hoped.I bought the 4E width, and it really doesn't feel any wider 2E. I have purchased other ASICS shoes in the past and have not noticed the toe-box being this tight. It isn't unwearable, it will just take for it to stretch out, I guess.

I have always heard good reviews of asics shoes yet ways found myself spending loads more on other companies like brooks... etc. Until now! I have very flat feet and these shoes feel every bit as comfortable as my $120 brooks! If they hold up even a few months, I will be buying more!

Hurt my feet

So I tried both these and the ASICS Equation 6 running shoe and like that one A LOT better than this one. While the shoe appears to be well made and I like the look of the shoe just fine, It wasn't particularly comfortable. In fact, it felt like I was walking on concrete in them.On the plus side, the shoe has ample room in the toe area, which I've often found lacking in other shoes and it fit well and was comfortable enough - until I started walking in it. I was disappointed with the Gel-Venture 4 and would encourage folks to "test drive" it along with others such as the Equation 6.Hope this is helpful to you.
