During my sophomore year, I was never a big believer on the "throwing shoe" hype. I had always used regular tennis shoes and done just fine. By my junior year I finally succumbed and invested in this pair of throwing shoes. After the second day of use my throws had already increased drastically. They have great traction for shot put but at the same time are very quick in the discus ring. They do well in wet conditions also. It is now half way through my senior year and they are holding up great. Wouldn't recommend any other shoe but this one.
