Everyday sneaks

I'm a runner and I love my asics cumulus for running. I decided to try these out as a casual shoe for wearing to work everyday. They are great for that use. Light, comfortable, and breathable. I like the "minimalist" idea for casual shoes. Having said that, I would NEVER use these as my running shoes. I prefer a more cushioned and supportive shoe for running. I wore blur 33s for treadmill running and anything over 3 miles started to cause foot aches. For a casual, everyday shoe these are a perfect and affordable choice.

Good for walking Bad for running

These make my feet tired after running 3~4 miles. I think it is because of the PHF thing. It makes unique cushioning so it is pleasant to walk on them but... makes feet tired after long running as if you are running on a sandy beach. At first I didn't know why I felt like my feet were burning and hurting, but after running 3 times, I realized that there's something wrong with these shoes.However it is good for walking and probably for training, too.But I don't recommend them on the racing day when you need good performance.

very simple, there awesome

i am on my feet all day and i walk about 7 miles a day, i have for about 9 yrs, been through and tried countless sneakers and boots and hiking shoes etc, I have tried so many insoles and even mixed and matched them to make various shoes comfortable, some times it works most of the time it does not. Asics in my opinion make the best sneakers on the market and worth every penny, these Asics are awesome, i have been wearing them for weeks and I am a huge fan, the even more amazing part is i haven't had to put any insoles in them to cushion the impact from walking. They offer great support and are very comfortable, no question i am buying another pair just to have. Take it from someone who brutalizes their body and logs in stupid miles every week, a sneaker this good doesn't come around often. Do yourself and your feet a favor and get them, your feet will thank you
