"Synthetic textile upper" Means Plastic

The sole and interior of the shoe are very comfortable. The upper is made of "synthetic textile". That's a space age plastic that does not breathe at all. My feet are in puddles after a 1/4 mile. I bought this on sale and am disappointed. If I had paid full price I would be livid.My fault for not reading the details more closely but am still thinking of returning these junky shoes. Shoes like this are in the 9.99 bin at Wal-Mart. Do Not Buy.

Not Sure What to say..

I bought these initially hoping because they are running shoes that they would have extra firm support. Couldn't really tell. But what I noticed most and did not expect from the pics is that the uppers are very "meshy" or web-like. Likely to accommodate sweaty feet from running. This I did not want and was able to return the should without any hassle. I could see how these could be a good running shoe but I am not a runner , nor did go for a run with these..
