asics loyalist converted

I run a lot, and I have been a long time asics nimbus loyalist. I've probably owned every Nimbus since the 7th or 8th iteration. I've tried a handful of other running shoes just to pique my curiosty, but I have always returned to the nimbus for its cushion and ease on my high arches.I've also worn a lot of Ecco shoes, but never tried their fitness shoes. I have always loved Ecco shoes for their comfort and appearance. I recently started doing Insanity, and I needed some lateral stability in my sneakers. The Asics Nimbus didn't provide the support I needed, as they are a straight line running shoe. I looked at various trail shoes and x-training shoes, and settled on the Ecco BIOM 1.2. I chose the Ecco b/c of its lightness and ability to run on uneven ground.Man, did I make the right decision. They provide amazing lateral stability for x-training. They also are a very light and comfortable running shoe. The cushion effect is on par with the Asics Nimubs.Just a note: Ecco shoes run a full size big. I was aware and ordered accordingly. So if you wear a size 10. shoe for instance, you want to order a 42 or a 43 Ecco shoe. If you are closer to a 9.5, then order a 42. If you are at the tips with a size 10, then order the 43.I highly recommend this sneaker as an all-around fitness shoe. Great for x-training and running with no compromise in either discipline. I will be buying a lot more Ecco running products in the future.
