5Superb Comfort
By Doggymcnuggets
I really love these shoes. They are extremely lightweight and come across almost like a hybrid mesh river shoe crossed with a hiking shoe. These are certainly not dedicated serious hiking shoes as they are not burly enough for that, but in fairness they are not meant to be. Columbia describes these as trail running shoes, hence the superb light weight. They are also really comfortable, probably as much as any shoe I own. They cradle the foot nicely and provide great arch support, and they are quite flexible. Out of the box they feel just right. Sizing is spot on for my slightly wide 11 feet. To boot, they also look very sharp. Can't rave enough about these shoes, they are light and comfy and Columbias are always built tough. Highly recommended.

5Most comfortable show I've ever worn - and I'm a trail shoe snob :)
By CBRadioMagazine
These are light weight - almost minimalist like a water shoe, or glove shoe. However they are super comfy like a sock and have plenty of cushioning like a normal shoe. I've searched for years for a shoe like this. Neutral impact, something you can wear all day long, breathes like a lung so no sweaty feet (and my feet sweat easy). Comfortable on the trail or as a daily shoe.I wear these all day every day. Super comfy, not sure how they will hold up long term but they seem really well made and the toe area isn't exposed with stiching or anything it's all one solid piece. At the price these are selling I don't think there's a better shoe out there. My last shoes were Merrill Moab Ventilators and these are lighter, breathe better and are 10x more comfy. I have size 13 feet that are wide and these looked too narrow out of the box but when I put them on they were perfect, plenty of room.Best shoe ever - I pray to god they keep making these for years to come, I've found my shoe for life.

4very light
By Scott Andrews
These shoes are very light, and I think I know where the weight is missing- the shank. Th sole is not nearly as stiff as other hikers that have steel or hard plastic shanks. This may not be a deal-breaker for you, and some folks like a more flexible footbed. They're kind of like very comfortable climbing shoes (for smearing the rockface) but I wouldn't want to stand all day on concrete in them. That said, they are a good quality product from Columbia. I have worn Columbias almost exclusively for 5 years now, and only had one pair that didn't have that feel great fit right out of the box. I suffered a very painfull heel injury in 07 and I'm very picky about what I wear.
