Product Description
VivoBarefoot Evo WR Water Resistant Running Shoes uses the Ultra Thin Puncture Resistant Sole which gives a maximum proprioception and protection to your feet. The Anatomic Toe Box is shaped to allow the foot to behave as it would if bare so that it can expand and contract with every step you take. The Neutral Last gives a Zero drop to the heel and has a no pitch to give natural gait to your running style. Barefoot with (TRON) Style
By JonSequitur
I love this shoe. My friend who turned me onto Terra Plana said his Aqua's were the most comfortable he'd worn. Though they didn't have my size in Aqua line, these EVO IIs (what is pictured above) are the most comfortable I've worn. I call them my Spider-Tron shoes. (And the TRON-esque color and style were a selling point for me. FYI: the gray piping square around the laces is made of reflective material.) I am a convert to these shoes. I won't go back to "normal" shoes except on formal occasions when a heel is required. Don't wear them with stripped pants; the hexagons and lines were a hideous combination.PROS:*Style*Amazing Comfort*Healthy foot mechanicsCONS:*Sizing is a guessing game, but I hope my sizing advice (below) will help you make your own judgment.*Low to the ground. I may have to get a few pairs of my jeans hemmed to compensate for the lack of heel.*Rain: I wouldn't wear these shoes in heavy rain because I think they'd take on water. But I have NOT tested this out in puddles, so who knows. I have been okay so far in moderate rain.*Look too good to use for jogging. I use my Vibrams for jogging and workouts.NOTE: If you have low arches, you shouldn't use arch supports with barefoot-shoes. But you shouldn't use arch supports at all. You will have to learn to stop rolling your weight inward. I have low arches, and I'm re-learning how to walk correctly. These shoes give you the feedback in your feet you need. (Check out Jolie Bookspan's books or web articles on low-arches/foot pronation for tips on how to walk correctly.)SIZING ADVICE: The shoes have a wide toe box and are shorter toe-wise. Since they are sold in UK sizes, I had to guess. I wear 42 in Vibram's FiveFinger shoes and have long toes, so I bought the 43. (I think I'm 10.5 in U.S. size.) Other reviews suggested buying a size bigger than normal. However, I have a pair of Diesel that are 43s. I have about half an inch room in front of my big toe, but my pinky toe has no room (or just touches the shoe, without any discomfort).

comfortable and stylish
By zenmaestro
i love vivobarefoot shoes. i own over 20 pairs -a bit addicted- for all occasions and then some and in lots of colors. besides wearing dress shoes for work or special occasions, i only wear vivos/terraplana shoes. i find the shoes super comfortable and durable. for me, what sets vivos apart from the crowd is style. vibrams look too odd. merrells and new balance too plain and typical. vivobarefoot standout and appear well conceived. i often receive compliments and people inquire about the shoes. they get design. whenever i slip on my vivo's i just feel like running or jumping around. for some reason, it seems to infuse me with energy.the evo II's: vivobarefoot understands style. i like these in the winter because of the additional lining versus the evo III or original evo. i.e., these breath less and perhaps a bit warm in the summer. i wear these for all occasions -running, crossing training, trail running, hiking, and out on the town to dinner or dancing. the sole offers super traction on most surfaces -even on grass. sizing is a full size small. i normally wear 13ee/14 US or 48/49 in euro sizing. in vb, i wear 48 or 15 according to vb sizing. i also own quite few in 47 too -though they fit snug. i got these in the red color. they've become one my favorite vb's -especially for winter. highly recommended. i expect that vb will continue to lead the market in design.

Excellent minimalist running shoes
By EMT23508
I own a pair of vff kso's and I never used to enjoy running until I got The vibrams. The vivo barefoot shoes had to live up to very high expectations going in. That said the shoes performed very well. I enjoy running in the shoe, however I might have gotten a half size too big. They're not heavy shoes but with the kso's I'm a minute faster on average. I think I'll be using these for everyday use and occasional running. But I'll be sticking with the kso for everyday running
