I bought these for my husband. He does triathlons, he loves them. When he trains at night he runs in them so cars can see him too. He runs in them without socks.

Great shoe

This is a good shoe. It is light and comfortable. although it runs a little tight/narrow. No laces make it easy to slip on and off. Good support and cushioning although they do not feel like a durable shoe. Haven't tried it yet but they do not seem like they would be a good shoe for longer 5+ mile runs

Great looking shoe and lightweight

Had Reebok shoes before and they lasted a long time so I decided to purchase these because of the look. When they arrived I was excited to try them on. Besides looking great they are lighter than any other reebok I owned before. One small hiccup is that when I tried them on they were a big snug on the sides and near the tip and I am a size 12. I guess breaking them in is the best thing to do for a looser fit. But overall a great product.

Look and feel great

These shoes look and feel great. The Climacool feature of these shoes gives the foot access to fresh air from all sides. I didn't buy them for running, but for support and comfort and they are definitely providing both. I would buy these again and will possibly buy another pair in a different color.

Great for heavier walkers

I'm an overweight walker, wear a size 8.5, and have been buying very good ASICS cushioned running shoes. Problem is all the shoes I have used wear out (lose their cushioning) within 6-9 months. I walk between 9-12 miles a week and hate seeing $70-$100 ASICS Cumulus running shoes get replaced so quickly. I figured, since all shoes lose their cushioning faster with heavier users then why not try some cheaper shoes.I picked the Gel Venture 3 Trail shoes because I noticed the Cumulus becoming marshmallow like on hot days when they were closer to the end of their life span and because my ASICS Neo Walkers were wearing very quickly on the soles. The Venture trail running shoes have a stiffer bottom of slower wearing black material. They do not flex as well when brand new but give them 5 or 10 miles of use and they are great. Cushioning is less than the Cumulus but give a more secure feel and I have had no shin splints develop. They breathe a bit less than the Cumulus but are warmer in the winter. So far they are great and the experiment seems to prove that I don't necessarily need the higher end shoes. The gel in the heel works well and since I am not running, I really do not need the forefoot gel of the Cumulus. Also, the gel is centered on the heel(better for the heel strike of a walker)vs the Cumulus runner where the gel is pushed toward the outside of the heel.Only drawback may be slight break-in and the fact that the laces are pretty slippery and come undone more easily than other ASICS I have had. You just have to tie them tight. I lucked out and found mine for $40 at that lower end "french department store chain ....Jacque Penney" :)

This is a solid shoe. Fit is true to size, maybe just a little bigger on my size 12's. Lots of extra padding and not very breathable so maybe not a good choice for hot climates. Pleased overall.

Comfort and Value

Reebok's DMX Ride walking shoe is a great shoe to wear for maximum comfort at a minimum price. I originally purchased these shoes for everyday walking, but find them extremely useful when at nursing clinicals, so I bought another pair for that purpose alone. I do a lot of walking at my clinical site, and these shoes provide necessary comfort, which makes my job easier to perform. These shoes are a good investment not only for overall value, but for long-term health of feet for those who do a lot of walking. Furthermore, they don't wear easily. For under $60.00, you can have a great and durable pair of walking shoes.

a step down from DMX MAX

I hope this isn't the replacement for the DMX MAX shoe. I work 16 hour shifts and on my feet nearly all day, these shoes are hot and with not nearly the cushion I hoped for, a real disappointment. I fear the DMX MAX is going to be discontinued.If you are going to try this shoe, it is a let down in comfort for the long day.
