Ready to tackle terrain of all types, the Pearl Izumi Peak II shoe is built for the neutral to under-pronator seeking enhanced cushioning. This minimalist men's trail-running shoe features an abrasion-resistant, bonded seamless upper with a 360o lacing system that anatomically conforms to the foot for a tailored fit. The TPU forefoot plate and TPU toe cap provide added protection, while Energy Foam cushioning enhances comfort and energy return. The carbon rubber outsole of the Pearl Izumi Peak II trail shoe ensures traction and durability.

THESE SHOES ARE ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!THEY FIT LIKE A GLOVE AND FEEL LIKE YOU'RE WEARING SLIPPERS.I NORMALLY WEAR A SIZE 11WIDE, AND ORDERED A WHOLE SIZE UP.SO A SIZE 12 FITS ME PERFECTLY.HIGHLY RECOMEND.

My Favorite Trail Shoe!

This shoe does not have a ton of support to it. They are comfortable to run in right out of the box. They give you plenty of feel for the ground, while not giving too much. They set low to the ground, and offer some protection where needed, but are not weighed down with unnecessary protection. Some might like a little more to a trail shoe, but I found these to be perfect for the feel I like. Be aware, they run a half size small. I have over 500 miles on the pair I wore this summer, and have two more pair ready for spring. I love this shoe.

Light, tough, comfortable.

I've had these shoes for a week. I ran 6+ miles with these on, right out of the box. Also wore them for my circuit training and weight training routines for 6 days.Excellent shoe. Runs a size small. I normally wear 10s, bought 11s and have been happy with the fit. My feet run wide, so it was nice to see how forgiving and comfortable the mesh upper has been.I've read some reviews where people complain about the lack of support. Two things on that... if your running form is poor, you probably won't like these shoes. They are minimalistic, and are designed for people with good running form that want a light weight low profile shoe. If you're an under pronator, you may not like this shoe.Excellent traction on wet and dry terrain. I'll be wearing these off and on for training over the next couple of months, then I'll see how they hold up in a Tough Mudder event.I bought these specifically for TM, as I was looking for something light weight with great traction that will allow mud and water to drain. I'm expecting big things from these shoes.
